  • Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies, 1700 Brodie Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517
  • The Community Recycling Committee of the League of Women Voters will be holding a four-fold recycling activity at the Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies, along with our partners at the Presbyterian Church, the Rotary Club of Estes Park, and Bestway Painting:

E-Cycle:  Relieve yourselves of old TVs, monitors, modems and batteries (alkaline and rechargeable Lithium and/or NiCad).

Recycling electronics requires a fee wherever one recycles them. Here is OUR price schedule, which includes the cost of transporting these goods, and paying for recycling at CHaRM in Boulder or elsewhere. See our reasonable price schedule here.

Note: We will NOT accept microwave ovens or scrap metal. Take these to CHaRM in Boulder.

Paint recycle:   Correctly dispose  of paint products

(see our Recycle Paint Products page)

Shredathon:  Shred your sensitive office papers, checks, etc. Staples may be included!

Freecycle Estes:  After all the other activities, shop 'til you drop for free stuff other people have dropped off for YOU!

The members of your Community Recycling Committeeare using this activity to remove things that may wind up in our waste stream, and thence into the Larimer County Landfill.

We are committed to help change people's mindset about how to go about our daily business, and move towards a zero-waste environment. That will help the public, our business, and our bottom lines, including keeping our environment sustainable.

Please let your neighbors know about this.

Start gathering your materials. April 22nd is just around the corner!
